MPA Connects is back with a Spring Edition, one of the most vibrant events in the MPA community, happening only twice a year. We welcome you to our network event for all MPA Community members. With many activities planned, whether you are a producer, DJ, audio engineer, vocalist or other creative artist: the MPA Connects event has something in store for everyone. During MPA Connects, we’re hosting the MPA Beat Battle. Create your track at home using the official sample pack, carefully curated by DJ the Producer and Dutch Flower, and submit it before the deadline. You can download the sample pack below to get started.
All submitted tracks will be played during the Beat Battle Listening Session, where the jury provides live feedback and selects the winners. This is your chance to gain valuable insights into your production, hear how others approached the same sounds, and compete for great prizes, including gear from beyerdynamic.

Maximum track length: 3 minutes

What can you expect?
MPA Connects brings together an inquisitive group of producers, DJs, artists and music lovers who are curious about everything related to music production. It’s a place to learn from each other, hear the stories behind the music, and discover how artists approach their work inside the studio.
We also invite people from within the music industry, giving you a rare opportunity to look behind the scenes, exchange ideas and expand your network. And of course, conversations continue during the breaks over drinks and snacks , exactly the way we like to do it at MPA.

Music Production is at the heart of Rotterdam, we mean it! Our location is most reachable from the: Oostplein metro station, and Burgemeester van Walsumweg tram stop
VISIT US
You can visit MPA six days a week during opening hours and of course during our events. Our studios can also be booked in the evenings. To start your educational journey at MPA, we recommend to schedule an appointment with a teacher or visit one of our events. Contact us and we will make it happen.
