ABOUT THE ARTIST

Didier de Ruyter (1991, Breda) — known professionally as Didier the Producer — is an Amsterdam-based composer and producer who has built an impressive career working at the crossroads of art, media and music production.

He collaborates with leading agencies and international brands, having composed for intercontinental campaigns by Audi, Adidas, ING, Hunkemöller, Samsung, Vodafone and the German Football Association. His compositions have been heard across major global media, and he also created the score for the acclaimed WeTransfer mini-documentary “Rambutan.”

While studying Music Composition and Production at the Utrecht School of Arts, Didier wrote the very first curriculum for Music Production Academy — laying the foundation for what MPA would later become. From the age of 21, he stood in front of the classroom as a teacher, sharing his knowledge weekly for over five years.

Beyond the world of media composition, Didier is also active as a songwriter and producer for pop artists and DJs including MEROL, Bente, San Pacho and René Karst. His productions continue to reach audiences worldwide through radio airplay, streaming platforms and festival stages.

In this masterclass, Didier the Producer will take you inside his creative process — from composing for high-profile brands to producing hit songs. Expect a session filled with practical insight, career advice, and inspiration on how to merge creativity with professionalism in today’s music industry.
