COURSE STRUCTURE
Do you want make crowds dance on festivals, clubs and house parties? Would you like more confidence on stage while djing? Want to see how professional DJ’s use effects or how to mix different genres seamlessly? If your first thought is yes to one of these questions, then this DJ course is the right one for you. In a package of your choice, you will learn the aspects of DJing with top of the line pioneer hardware: from set-up and technique, to phasing and suspense. You will receive intensive and personal guidance in these 1 on 1 sessions with our teachers.

INTRODUCTION LESSON
Discover the art of DJing on professional gear with an introduction class! This first course lesson can be done with a huge discount, meaning you can try a lesson for just 30 euros (incl. btw). In one hour, you will meet your teacher and learn the basics of working on the Pioneer DJ CDJ Nexus: the industry standard for festivals and clubs around the world. After this class, you will also have the possibility to practice in the Beat Suite and you may choose to enroll in the DJ Course.
THE BASICS
Learn all the basics of DJing in four classes of two hours. In these classes, you will be taught all the basic aspects on ‘state of the art’ gear, with a teacher that takes your preferred music genre into account. The DJ Course consists of private lessons, so you will receive personal coaching to reach your goals with DJing. After each class, you will get an extra hour to practice your set in the Beat Suite.
ADVANCED DJ-ING
Do you already have experience as a DJ in the course, but want to learn the essentials of playing a perfect set? Welcome to the DJ Course Advanced. Learn to work with suspense, switching in genres, working with stems and more during these four lessons of two hours! Do you want to work on your own music after these clinics with another MPA Course? Then you will receive 10% discount on every other course you register for.

We have several teachers for the DJ Course. Based on your genre of preference, your experience and your availability, we will find the teacher that can best help you to reach your DJ goals. You can always plan a free intake to see where yo are and how we can help you.
If you take on more lessons, we have some great extra’s for you, including mixtape recordings with your teacher, a free usb stick and more!
The DJ course is always private, so you can have the individual attention you deserve.
Since the DJ clinics are given as a private lessons, this is totally up to you. You can plan a fixed day and time with the teacher or you can plan a new lesson based on your schedule.
The study load for this Course is 4 hours per week (based on one class per week). The study load can vary per student and includes the hours of lessons to be followed at our school.
We offer everyone the opportunity to visit MPA whenever you feel like. We will show you around and you can see the DJ Room as well. You can also plan an intake lesson, to see if the DJ Clinic is really for you. The intake costs only 30 euro (incl. btw) and you will meet your teacher and learn the basics of how to DJ on the Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus.
